5.0 out of 5 stars This is the one to get!
Small, lightweight and easy to use. This scale does it all. The 11 pound capacity ensures that this scale will handle any weighing needs in the kitchen. It comes with a container with a pouring lip, but you can use practically any other container that will fit on the scale. Simply place the substitue container on the scale, turn it on and the scale will reset to zero...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not accurate enough for coffee making
I wanted this for weighing my beans for making coffee. I only make about 26 - 32 oz of coffee for myself each day. I usually use 6 to 8 tablespoons. The problem with this scale is that 6 scoops can "weigh" as much as 9 or 10. I usually had to add 3 to 4 scoops of beans to get the scale to change the reading.

Small, lightweight and easy to use. This scale does it all. The 11 pound capacity ensures that this scale will handle any weighing needs in the kitchen. It comes with a container with a pouring lip, but you can use practically any other container that will fit on the scale. Simply place the substitue container on the scale, turn it on and the scale will reset to zero. You can use either english or metric weight units. The instructions are unambiguous. You can add additional ingredients to those in the container easily and accurately. Once you have the correct amount of the first ingredient, press the Tare button to reset the scale to zero. Add the second ingedient to the proper weight level. If additional ingredients are to be added, press the Tare button and repeat for each additional ingredient. What could be easier. No need to spend more. I highly recommend this one.

I am pleased with the performance of this scale. It has made weighing things in the kitchen, not to mention other things, a snap.

Bought this scale to use in my coffeeshop less than a year ago. When the batteries are fresh, it does a satisfactory job. However, the two lithium batteries fade very quickly (I've replaced mine five or six times at over $8.00 each time)- and as the batteries fade, the scale becomes worthless. Weights change on their own and the digital display goes haywire. I am shopping for a new scale.
