Excellent Mix of Music from Excellent Bands, September 3, 2004

This cd is easily one of my favorites. It contains music from the Grampian, Tayside, Lothian and Borders, Dumfries and Galloway, and Strathclyde Police Pipe Bands (for those of you not familiar with the Strathclyde Police they have won 12 World Pipe Band Championships and have set the record for the most consecutive wins at the Worlds!). On this cd you'll find some old favorites (Garb of Auld Gaul, Scotland the Brave, etc.) as well as plenty of new music (Mozart on the Rampage, Spiral Perm, and many others). All the bands on this recording play excellently, in my opinion this cd is a must have for those who love pipe band music.
