Sometimes the past comes back to haunt...
Dr. Sarah Rose thought her past was done with as she has moved on and is now a forensic pathologist. But her latest case leads her straight back to the man who knows her past and blames her for a past tragedy. Dr. Alistair Benn is torn between the love he feels for Sarah and his anger. Meanwhile, they have a mysterious plane crash, a dead pilot, and missing people to find. Will Sarah and Alistair find love in the midst of the chaos? I believe this is only the second book I've read by Marion Lennox but I'm quickly becoming hooked! Her smooth writing style makes even painfully emotional scenes become bearable. Alistair and Sarah have a nasty past, a very painful past that I didn't believe any author could successfully overcome... but Marion Lennox did it and made me believe in happiness for Alistair and Sarah! The story is well done and full of the tense moments I've come to expect with the Harlequin Medical line. I'm not sure I completely bought into the final solution for Barry but the ride along the way sure was hair-raising!
