Mike Conti is a veteran police officer, trainer, and author.
He is also the director of Saber Group, Inc., a private training and consulting services company he founded in 1997.
In 2006, Conti formed Saber Press, a subsidiary of Saber Group, Inc., to enable him to provide critical information directly to the law enforcement and professional training communities.
"Police Pistolcraft" (released by Saber Press in 2006) and "The Officer's Guide to Police Pistolcraft" (released November 2009) are the first two offerings from Saber Press. Both are based upon the "New Paradigm of Police Firearms Training" system that Conti researched and established in 2000.
The original "Police Pistolcraft" details the reality-based New Paradigm training program from the perspective of the instructor. "The Officer's Guide" on the other hand, is intended to serve as a police pistolcraft "bible" for both the novice and veteran line officer.
Both books have been well received by the professional law enforcement and training communities.
