4 Bands,all on the verge of getting signed,have their demos pressed onto this awesome relapse comp. Every band holds their own style,and are all damn good. Check out Yattering's songs. All great!

These are all demos that have been cleaned up a bit by the folks at Relapse, and the sound is superb. The early Decapitated material may be of interest to some, "The Eye of Horus" found here I like a bit more than the version on "Winds of Creation." Yattering kick some brutal death-grindy-blasty stuff that will get yer head-a-bangin', they even do a great job covering "Ill Neglect" from grind gods Brutal Truth. The Lost Soul demos show that these guys were on fire even before they released "Scream of the Mourning Star," some stellar guitar work can be found in the tracks here. Damnable close this beast out, and display some more of the grindy/blasty/brutal technique. This is a pretty damn good sampler, the strength of some of tracks turned me on to some new death metal, which is always a good thing.
