Outstanding High quality, good useful pictures and good step by step instructions.Who ever wrote this book gives a lot of thought to their food and that gives us a lot of food for thought.Pol Cook

"Polish Cooking" by Rose Cantrell, copywrite 1978, 80 pp., and 130 recipes, is a very good, illustrated, basic Polish cookbook. It does ignore the holiday cooking, and skips some of the best known Polish dishes. But, any cook can produce many excellent Polish dinners and some parties from the recipes given. I think this would be a good cookbook to give to an American cook who wants to cook some different dishes. I found the color photos of finished dishes to be very helpful for presentation hints.

I recommend this book.
