Letters from Poles,
By Tom (Rochester, NY United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Polish Peasant in Europe and America: A CLASSIC WORK IN IMMIGRATION HISTORY (Paperback)
This book is an abridged version of Thomas and Znaniecki's oft-cited classic five-volume work. The authors use actual letters from Polish peasant immigrants to their families back home to convey a sense of their lives and what motivated their behaviors.
There's only 127 pages but those who enjoy Polish immigrant history will appreciate this book very much.

The book is excellent, it seems to be new. I had it at home in only one week since I asked for it.
