The political Art of Bob Dylan
I have a lot of Bob Dylan books and this is one of the better ones. He stretches sometimes for a point but overall I thought it very insightfu of Dylan's music.

Interesting articles, lots of typos, alternative-universe timeline
An interesting set of well-written articles taking political perspectives on Bob Dylan's career, including his most recent work. HOWEVER: for a second edition, there A LOT of typos and misprints, from misspellings to typesetting errors. And the timeline at the back is a curiosity -- not only for the choice and wording of some of the events, but for the bizarre belief...

An interesting set of well-written articles taking political perspectives on Bob Dylan's career, including his most recent work. HOWEVER: for a second edition, there A LOT of typos and misprints, from misspellings to typesetting errors. And the timeline at the back is a curiosity -- not only for the choice and wording of some of the events, but for the bizarre belief that George Bush was inaugurated as President of the United States in 1985... and began a second term (sic) in 1989.
