This review is from: Political Corruption: Concepts and Contexts (Paperback)
This is an excellent book that introduces you to the concept of political corruption. All of the readings are topical and most are extremely engaging. The authors offer an overview of the problems of corruption within their sphere. Highly recommended.
As to the other review. Yes, it is a compilation of other works, all of which is original. It's called a textbook.

A BIG Book... With OTHER'S Work!!!, August 8, 2006
This review is from: Political Corruption: Concepts and Contexts (Paperback)
That's right! This doorstop of a book is (more or less) a compilation of OTHER'S work... specifically... 80% of this book is a DIRECT REPRINT of previous acedemic articles. No... not a summary or paraphrazing of... but a direct COPY of articles yu can get for free on the Internet!
This book is SO bogus that I threw it away!
For a REAL book that doesn't bulk up on FREE articles... try "Corrupt Exchanges". Much more concise... MUCH more material!
