If you are looking for straight ahead great contemporary jazz, this is the album for you.

This performance is artistic, precise, and musical.

Frank Glover is one of a very few people who have played the clarinet in the contemporary jazz idiom with success. He performs with great tone quality, excellent pitch and an extended range, all done with great control.

An excellent rhythm section of Steve Allee on piano, Jack Hensley on bass and Jonas Oglesbee on drums performs through out the CD.

Concerto Para Quarteto features the basic quartet plus and excellent string section providing the background support. This is an excellent composition with top notch melodies and harmonic progressions.

The jazz ensemble track, Plastic Plants, features excellent playing, great pitch, and control and range.

Give a listen to this fine album.
