MIS has a unique sound that most closly resembles another Mexican electronica band, Nortec Tijuana Sessions Vol. 3. With the clever use of samples and snippets of mixing magic the music is a fusion of banda goes eclectic electric. The song, "Revolucion!" has voice layers where the vocals come acros in symbiotic musical unity. The sound of MIS is hard to classify ss it is so unique mixing spoken word with exotic rhythmic sounds that jumps boundaries and transcends boundaries. There are so many styles of music that it is hard to categorize. Throw in some cumbia,a little salsa with an electronic beat and you have an eclectic mix that has you toe-taping and ready to dance.This is a good disc, similar in style to it's predesesor Soy Sauce and quite a tasty aural treat."Cumbia Mejuro" is a very cool song with beat samples similar to the classic title track by Los Lobos Kiko. If you're looking for something a little different, something that is a break from the norm that entices and excites the musical senses, a synthesis of musical styles woven tastefully together, than try this hot disc. Recommended for adventurous ears that want to send a signal to the brain to get those feet moving and get up and move to the groove.

Heard these guys on KCRW and loved them immediately. Very creative and playful spirit with them. Glad they formed into a full band instead of just going completely electronic. Makes for a fun sound
