another amazing new cd from SADAHARU!,
This review is from: Politics of Dancing (Audio CD)
So, the other moron reviewer asked who could like this CD? Well, howabout the THOUSANDS of people with decent taste who've bought it? I mean, if you're a brain dead Insane Clown Posse fan, I could understand this being too difficult to get into, but for the rest of us, this is another great volume of forward-thinking, genre-bending heavy rock n'roll. It makes sense their Japanese record label also released Fantomas, Isis and These Arms Are Snakes - Sadaharu is similar to them in that they are also doing something revolutionary (and often misunderstood). Sadaharu combines the sass of Nation Of Ulysses, the complicated guitar riffs of The Jesus Lizard and the garage rock thunder of the earlier Makers records. This new CD is another step forward for a great band doing something unsual and challenging.

Sadaharu is a lot of fun. They are pretty cool guys and their shows are great. I heard they got in People magazine, which is hilarious but awesome. Anyway, this CD is probably really good, so buy it.

This band really have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Rock n roll is supposed to be energetic and aggressive. This is the most lifeless mid-tempo garabge I've ever heard. How could anyone like this? How could anyone sign and release this? How could anyone even write this? I don't get it.
