Takes four times to understand (unless you're a polisci pro), November 26, 2007
This review is from: The Politics of Globalization (Paperback)
As the author states within the text, this book is written to cater towards political science students. Since I've only had one political science course, I'm obviously not the pro on the subject. As an educated individual (I'm working on my second Masters), I found that the topics within the book are discussed from an extremely broad and macro level. Brawley also makes several general assumptive statements which perhaps a poli sci expert would understand, but I had difficulty grasping.
If you happen to be that polisci expert, this might be a breeze, but for myself, I had to read and break down each paragraph literally four times until I understood the significance and direction of the text.
Good luck and make sure you have a dictionary and a stiff drink or surplus of caffeine nearby.
