I upgraded my stereo on my 2010 Ultra Limited by installing an Alpine KTP-445 Amplifier and a set of marine grade Kicker Speakers that are designed for the Harley Batwing Fairings. The fronts were KS5250 and the rears were DS5250. I took a ride and was not happy with the front speakers. I did a little research and purchased the Polk Audio MM521 marine grade speakers for the fronts. I removed the outer fairing and installed the speakers. The Polk speakers have a crossover that wires directly into the original wires that were attached to the Kicker Speakers. I also run a Hog Tune Tweeter Bar on the front inner fairing above the CD player. I was pleasantly surprised with the vast improvement of the sound sytstem after install of the Polk MM521 speakers. Volume, clarity and bass are all vastly improved. I am a happy rider. I only have to wipe the blood from my ears after turning off the stereo.

I've got a 120Wx2ch RMS amp that is pushing these babys to the max! Great midrange sound! Solid construction, neodynium magnets, very light. Don't let the weight fool you. These are nice speakers. Tweeters are silky sounding, but a bit drowned out by the mid. Would be perfect with a pair of high powered tweeters mounted up high.

Great speakers for the price. Fit perfectly. Look good. Marine certified(Jeep in hawaii). As long as you don't have unrealistic bass response expectations you should be happy. Crystal clear. Aloha.

Speakers were easy to install. I was able to mount the cross-overs directly to the door using 3M double-sided tape. I needed to use a ring-adapter to fit into factory location. Good sound and a huge improvement over stock (paper cone) speakers.

i am a fan of polk audio since i got the db6501 but this one for the price is not worth it, i put it my BMW 323ci door panel and Pioneer 6.5 in the back, the pioneer sounds so much better and much cheeper. i would not recommend this product...


update i found out that the tweeter are not working maybe crossover problem, have to return this item and i will get instead the pioneer ts-d which sounds better on my rear deck,
