Polk / Yamaha - Two Excellent Brands,

Thanks to Amazon for offering this Polk-Yamaha system. This pairing of a good quality AV receiver and high quality speaker system was exactly what I had been looking for. I had purchased a nice 1080p flat panel recently at one of the local stores, but not an audio system to go with it. The price is just slightly more than a few systems I saw at stores, but both Polk and Yamaha are well known brands. I was pleased with the package from the time I opened it. No need to rush out and buy anything else to go with it, it comes very complete. I had the system set up in no time. I found Yamaha's automatic speaker set-up very helpful and it made a big difference in the sound. I'm now up and running and not only seeing HD pictures, but hearing HD sound as well. It's hard to believe how much the sound adds to the picture, but it really does. I had one minor glitch with the HDMI hookup, but one call to Yamaha helped me find my error and fix it. I'm looking forward to lots of great movies now! I'd recommend this system to anyone who wants to enjoy the audio as much as the video. I don't think anyone would be disappointed.
