These are crisp full bodied bookshelf power house connected to my JVC 7.1 surrond sound receiver. They complement my bookshelf JBL speakers flawlessly. I can honestly say I will always purchase Polk Audio components from now on. I also should mention the cabinet (white) exterior is comparable to what u expect to see at an IKEA store i.e. some hip/chic design.
