I bought 4 of them to use as side and rear surrounds in a 7.1 setup in a large 20x20 room. I haven't set them up yet in the large room because it's under construction but I have compared these speakers side by side to my existing Energy XL:16 bookshelf speakers (6.5" 2-ways) and when used with a subwoofer they are of comparable sound quality. Obviously they don't have as much bass but that isn't really expected in a small speaker. Overall I am impressed by the sound of these little speakers. I am happy with my purchase.

Received fairly quick, great add-on to my Polk 6150 set. Makes 7.1 surround on blu-ray player and onkyo receiver sound awesome !!!

I bought the 5.1 system and needed one more speaker to make it 6.1. Polk likes to do the crossover in the subwoofer and it really seems to work well. This speaker became the middle back speaker. It looks just like the others in the kit. If I had not climbed the ladder, I would not have known which one it was.

I have really enjoyed my system since picking this system for the speakers. I was originally was looking at Bose, but decided against them because I was afraid they would not perform.

This speaker has different type of wire connection with my existing speakers. It has the press down and insert type (my previous set has the screw & banana plug combo type). I have to cutoff my banana jack for hooking up.
Other than that issue, speakers are working fine when I upgraded my set (RM7650) to 7.1 system.
