This pair of stands is not height adjustable(though the height is well chosen) and the stand tube is oval with a hole just behind where the speaker attaches and again at the base so you can hide the speaker wires in the shaft of the stand.

No screws or bolts come with this item so if you didn't receive or save ones you had with your speakers you will need to purchase those.

The base is very heavy and solid so there are no worries about them tipping over, and the base is not adjustable either so the picture shows the only orientation that is possible; you cannot rotate the shaft on the base.

I highly recommend these speaker stands. I also purchased the RM6880 home theater system. These stands are made for the RM system and include all the hardware you need. The speakers sound best at the height preset by the SA2 stands. The packing material was way beyond what I expected so my stands arrived with no damage. Definitely a high quality product.

I got these black stands and put them together in less then 10min and they are weighted at the bottom and hides the speaker wire nicely. The wire is a little difficult to run up inside but no problem there with a high gauge of wire. I have three cats and I worried and my girlfriend thought they would be knocked over. It's been 2 months and hasn't happened once. When we move and i can't hang the back two speakers on the wall I'll buy another two for the back hopefully i get them at a fair price. They don't have any chips of paint off anywhere and look new, I can only hope for a very long time.

These stands are great. Like most reviewers said they are not height adjustable but seem to be set at the perfect height. They are very sturdy and well made so you do not have to worry about them tipping over (unless of course you have a 3 year old who likes to pull on things). Using these with the Polk Audio RM6750 speaker set.

Great Pieces, one little flows that the bottom attachment should be done with two bolts instead of one.
