Design-enhanced surround diffusion characteristics on the new FXi Bi-Directional Surround Speakers include triangular cabinets that aim the drivers and tweeters in opposing directions to produce a more realistically diffuse wavefront and wide, lifelike imaging of surround-sound FX, and a conveniently located bipole/dipole switch for the most flexible placement options and highest performance surround effects. Floating grilles complement the real wood finishes and softened contours of the new FXi Series Surround FX Loudspeakers. Metallic elements add a touch of modern style to these classic Polk Audio high performance speakers.

These speakers are really nice surrounds in my system which is all Polk. CSi5 center, RTi8's front, and these new FXi3's in white. Sure got some terrific sounds watching Star Wars. I have them mounted on a pair of VTI adjustablde speaker stands, and that works really nice. The white color matches walls and decor very good.
