This CD is nothing more than a re-release of some of the tracks on Songs of the Polka King, volumes 1 and 2. Ten of the original 22 tracks, recorded in 1996 and 1997, are included. Since the originals are still available, this CD can only be described as a marketing ploy. Nevertheless, at this price it is a superb choice for the first-time Yankovic buyer. Hard-core fans should opt for the original two volumes instead. Frankie Yankovic had a habit of recording most of his repertoire several times, and the versions on this CD (and Songs of the Polka King) are the best by far, especially Milwaukee Polka and Just Because. The sound quality is top-notch, but I'd prefer to see re-releases of some of the classic vinyls, like TV Polkas, Polkas in Hi-Fi, Movie-Time Polkas, and Polka My Way, on the Columbia label. Please, save the re-releases for material which is no longer available elsewhere!

As the name implies " Polka Party ".
This is a great CD and an instant inspiration to get the party going, as soon as the music begins. One cannot help oneself but to dance to it's tune. The songs itself are enough to bring out laughter. The musical beats are precise, and definite and easy for the novice dancer to keep in time to. It is a must if you are having a Polka Party.
A great disc by a great artist!
