My conclusion is that there are excellent showerheads that use a bit more water or there are showerheads that are miserly and really do not do a great job. I would also recommend the Sharper Image style low flow showerhead as an alternative if you are seeking a low flow solution. This showerhead really does act like a drizzly rain, but that is not always a good thing. Yes, it's gentle, but that's not always the best effect for shampooing the hair, either. Also, it tends to keep drizzling long after the water has been turned off, meaning that you get dripped on as you try to exit the shower, or else you wait as the now cold or cooling water drools on you. It looks great and is most impressive to first time onlookers, so it will find a place of glory in the guest bath! However, for the bedroom shower I am going back to the Sharper Image unit, which is very well made, and actually provides a degree of air jetted spray force.

This showerhead is a low cost but high quality item!!! This is an excellent gift for a house warming gift!! It feels as if your standing outside in the rain! We love it!

Before my husband and I bought this product, we went pricing around to about 3 or 4 home and garden stores to find the best large showerhead for our master bath. After looking around, we were prepared to pay about $80-$150. Then, of course, we found this one on amazon and were very skeptical since the price was incredibly low. Boy we were wrong...this product is great!

First off, in the product description, it explaines that the showerhead mimics pouring rain and is not "high pressured"...for us, this was wrong. This showerhead actually increased our water pressure in our upstairs bathroom and we were pleasantly surprised. Also, the piping that comes with the product snakes upward, so my husband (who is over 6 ft) was able to comfortably take a shower without having to slouch to get is head wet.
And putting it together was a snap. Well, I didnt do it, my husband did, but it only took him 5 minutes to change out the old showerhead to the Pollenex, and if he can do it in 5 minutes anyone can!
We loved this product so much, that we bought a second one for our guest shower, and because they're so cheap, we're going to buy them as gifts for our parents!

If you've been in the market for a large showerhead, this is the one to go for. It's so cheap, looks sharp and works great and the feeling you get while taking a shower is worth more than $40. We would've gladly paid $150 for this product.

Added bonus: It claims to be a water saver too. 2.5 gallons saved in 1 minute. Awesome!!!

It's bigger than you think it is going to be. Or at least bigger than I thought it was going to be. I even looked at a ruler before ordering and it still surprised me how big it is.

Once you get over how ludicrusly big it looks, you will love it. It makes for a great shower, very nice, and low-flow! Only 2.5 gallons a minute. But as others have mentioned, if you like a high power shower head this is not the one for you.

Overall pretty satified with the shower, looks elegant...and
gives you a nice and refreshing shower. Although if you are looking for a power wash then this is not for you. its more like a steady stream of water pouring down....

It did not install as easy as it should have, but I love it.

this showerhead is extremely large and has a gignourmous coverage area which is awesome. you do lose a little water pressure but the coverage is well worth the loss

This was given as a Christmas gift and now a year later, she still LOVES it. It was easy to install with no hidden surprises and has been holding up very well.

It was exactly what we were looking for.

The shower head is really nice and is actually quite large. The only issue I have with it is the arm is short, and makes you bathe in only the first part of the shower. Second, I have to tilt the shower head in order to drain the water after using so no mildew will grow.

As a showerhead it works great. Just be aware that once installed the head comes out at about the same height as the wall fitting, that put it about forehead level for me. Since you need to stand pretty much directly under the showerhead it wasn't a very comfortable situation. It was easily solved by getting an extended goose neck to replace the one that came with it at a big box hardware store near by for ~$20. Still this added to the price before I could use it, just FYI.
