My daughter got Fashion Polly for her fourth birthday. I had never seen it before and frankly, was concerned about the incredibly small pieces. Boy, was I wrong. She loves this toy and has insisted we play "Fashion Polly's" every night. We take turns sorting the clothes by color, by type, etc. and then dress them. She does have a little trouble getting the clothes on and off, so do I sometimes, but it is a great mom and daughter game. There is no way I would get this toy for any child under 4, no matter how "advanced" or careful they are. It is just too difficult to manage the small rubber clothes. For kids 4 and up, I recommend it highly. Particularly for girls who are going through that "what matches" stage when they get dressed in the morning. This was a great gift and we will be getting her more Fashion Polly stuff for Christmas.

My sis-in-law gave my 7 yr old daughter the Polly Pockets School Backpack for her b'day. This is something I would not have purchased for her due to all of the small pieces. But amazingly enough, it's a pretty cool toy. We try to keep everything stored in the backpack, which my daughter takes in the car with her -- she loves to play with this toy. The dolls are ideal for the tub, too. The clothes can be a little difficult to manuever at 1st, but eventually the kids get the hang of it. We have bought Polly Pockets for all of my daughter's friends b'days because they all love to play with them at our house.

it's really fun, i'm 7 and my sister is 3 and we both like playing with it. The dolls are easy to dress for my little sister. It's easy to carry around the house.

My girls, 7 & 8, have had the same Polly Pocket toys for the past three years, with additions over the past two years. The Polly Pockets, both the tiny little dolls and the 4 inch dolls, are one of their favorites. The rubber clothes are a little hard to put on, but that accounts for their "educational value" and they now put them on with ease.
My girls keep all the parts in little Ziploc bags and have yet to break a doll or rip a piece of their rubber clothing.
I don't get these parents. Why give something a bad review when your daughter is much younger than the stated "appropriate for 4 + years" label that's on the box?
No matter how "mature" you think your two year old is, the fact is that she is still a two year old. The box doesn't say, 4+, but if you think your kid is mature, well, then buy this.
Don't Rush Your Kid, Lady. There's plenty of time to play with toys. What, when she's 8 are you going to let her dress like Britney Spears and get a belly ring because she's too bored playing with the Big Girl Toys? You're that type of parent. Stick with the Fisher Price toys.
My advice: You want something small that won't make a big mess and keeps the girls occupied for days on end, Buy This.

My 10-year-old daughter picked this over many other choices. I thought it looked "young" for her, and even tried to talk her out of it, but she'd wanted it for a while so I gave in. She loves it. There's something about fussing around with the little boxes, shoes, clothes, etc., that just fascinates her. Her opinion is what counts, and she likes it. What more can I say?

My 6 year old loves the Fashion Polly's. Her collection has been growing for a few years now. They are the most played with girl item in the house. I like the fact that they do not take up much space. We have many many many of the Fashion Polly's and they are the first item of choice when buying a party gift for a girl. She never seems to tire of them, and her brother even plays along with her because these little pollys are the perfect size to ride along on a matchbox car.
Her outfits have endless possibilites with a few sets. This set is great to keep them busy when your out and about, due to the fact that it clicks closed and everything is in one little case. my little one takes these along with her to big brothers sporting events, and when she starts to play other kids are naturally drawn to join in. While I actually get to catch some of the games ;-) HIGHLY RECOMENDED ITEM.

we have discovered fashion pollies and love them. my daughter can play with them for hours. they are so cute to play with. We only wish we could find more ricks. Or rick could have some friends. My son loves them also. I wish they would come out with some for little boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Because sometimes we have a major fight on our hands. They are great for playtimes.

Ever scense fashion pollies came out i wanted one. My first one was the dance back-pack when I was eight. I have been reciving these toys over the past two years. Im 10 now and always think "im to old to be doing this" but then my friends come over and want to play with them. So I join in. And guess what I remember how much fun it is and become addicted to them all over. I now have this set, the dance set, the bedroom back-pack, and two or three little sets. These are a great buy but I have found out through little brothers and sisters that you shouldnt buy untill 4 because the clothes can be diffucult.

You shouldn't start with the bad, but here I go...the items are on the small size, but she is Polly Pocket so you kind of know this going in. It just makes thing really easy too lose and get caught in the vacuum. That being said the clothings is made of a stretchy plastic which is a nice change from the easily ripable materials of most doll clothing and it makes it much easier for my daughter to dress and undress Polly. I found the bed comes off much too easy, but it is easily an hour's worth of fun for your child in the car. Easy to travel with to the Dr.'s office or the grocery store. Everything must be carefully placed back or the purse will not close. Be sure to buy on sale, as I don't think its worth the MSRP, but it isn't a total waste of money either. This a little better than average toy that with a few minor improvements in quality could be really nice.

MY SISTER GOT THIS TOY YESTERDAY FOR HER 8TH BIRTHDAY. BOTH MY SISTER AND I LOVE IT! IF YOU TAKE CARE OF IT AND NOT LOSE ANY PIECES YOU'LL HAVE FUN FOR A LONG TO TIME. FASHION POLLY IS SO MUCH FUNNER THAN THE OLD ONE. ME AND MY SISTER ARE GOING BACK TO GET MORE PLAY SETS!
