Okay, I am a bit biased because I have a soft spot for Polo products but the Polo Black is arguably the best I have used in years. And I use and finish a new cologne every month. The after smell is great, it is not overpowering, it is great in the morning and in the evening. Plus it doesn't hang on your clothes, so if you wear your shirt again, it doesn't have this "hanging" smell. For the first time in years, I am going to use the same cologne for 2 consecutive months! A great product.

First off I own over 25 bottles of cologne from about a 4 year collection, some I buy over because there great and I always want them in my collection. I will say this is my first Polo to make it in my cabinet, I usually stear clear of Polo it has a very strong and ummm got to be 70yrs old to wear it smell! This one has a stronger smell but it's unique and the strength wears off and has a great smell from there on, that's the only reason I did'nt give it 5 stars becuase of the initial spray you put on. If you like cologne then this is a good one too have.

Incredible smell! Little strong at first(but what colognes are not?) and settles to a smooth, fresh smell that is not spicey or musky. By far the best smelling cologne out there. I have had dozens of ladies from 18 to 35 tell me how much they love this cologne. Costs a little more, but it is worth it!!

I think the polo black sent by amazon is either a duplicate or an expired one because being a vivid user of polo black when i applied this copy sent by amazon the smell is just like a plain alcohol and nothing like the original black.

all the aroma of mango and other ingredients are just not there. so watch it before you order from amazon.

A review from a woman in her 20's: this is by far the most delectable and attractive cologne. Ever. It's a great balanced cologne. It's sweet-smelling like women like, but not overly sweet or even fruity like Curves or some others that I've come in contact with. And it's not musky or pungent, which is a definite plus. I had to buy it for my boyfriend. It's super sexy, and he loves it, too.

At first spray, this can be a pretty potent cologne, but after 1-2 minutes this fades into a nice rosey spice scent that is much lighter than it's green original polo brother. lasts all day long and into the night. Worth checking out if you are a fan of cool water and lotto, or lighter scented cologne.

I bought this cologne for my husband. We both love the way it smells! It's very fresh, clean and crisp.

Like another reviewer said, this is the best cologne to come out in the last five years. I am a cologne nut. I'll spend a half hour at the store doing nothing but testing out one after another. With that said, I started using POLO Black a few years ago and I still love it as much as the day I found it. While I am also a fan of Tommy and CK One, I have yet to find another scent that beats this one.

The best thing about this cologne is that it's so versatile and appropriate for just about any situation. It's good for evenings and dates without being heavy or musky, and it's good for every day work or school use with out being to soapy or feminine smelling. I have had countless girls tell me they love the way I smell when I wear this stuff. And to top it off, it's relatively inexpensive. Two spritzes down the shirt do the trick for me. Get it, now!!

First time ordering cologne and very pleased. The product is authentic and although it was a "tester", it was packaged worthy to give as a gift.

I am a fan of Ralph Lauren and check new products from this brand. I liked this scent, although I am probably more used to Polo Blue, which is also great. It is better to get an idea in a store because it is not quite possible to decide from reviews. Anyway, it is worth checking especially if you are looking for a new cologne for St. Valentine's day.
