We eat very large salads so these bowls serve as a bowl for one person in my house. I bought one, liked it, so bought another. The bowls are fine, but they both arrived very dirty, with greasy fingerprints on them!
Someone needs to tell the homeandwine people to wash their hands now and then. I don't expect a brand new item to arrive in such ugly condition.

as the other reviewer said, these arrived filthy. after 3 DW washings and 1 hand washing, they were clean enough to use (although i still couldn't get the label off of the bottom).
HOWEVER, after using them for salads with oil based dressings, DW them, and hand cleaning them left an oil film that i could not remove. quite perplexing, really. i threw them out. too bad...good price, good size. unusable for me.

terrible product, terrible material,

The bowls arrived DIRTY and took more than one dishwasher round to clean. The sticker at the bottom would not come off, in addition the white rubbery material on the outside catches up the color of the food it comes in contact with. I had it washed in the DW with some tomato-sauce-dirty dishes and since then it is colored in red oily stripes that don't come off...
