This polycarbonate bowl has a soft plastic coating on the outside. It arrived dirty, scratched and with imprints of the packaging paper that didn't go away.
Returned it to Amazon. Don't waste your time.

I ordered three, and they came in three different states of discoloration. One is dirty white, one is dirty yellowish-white, and one is dirty whitish-yellow. Plus, they had big labels stuck inside with an adhesive that I'm still trying to remove. A run through the dishwasher didn't help with either of these problems.
