I ordered these for my brother because he is just starting to play D&D with us. They came in and are absolutely beautiful. The color is stunning, very magical looking. The corners are not the sharpest but any high end dice like these you buy are going to have softer corners. It's just the way it is, and the corners don't really matter, to be honest.

The dice look even better in person. They're really gorgeous dice--except for some blemishes on the corners. The d20 in particular looked as if it had been impacted on one of the corners, as the paint seems oddly distorted.

The numbers were clear and easy to read.

I rolled the d20 100 times and calculated a sum squared error of 100 using a technique I found on a D&D blog for testing the fairness of dice. 150 is the limit for that few number of rolls, so they seem fair enough. I do wish their corners were sharper, though--they're very rounded, so they roll more than I would like.

I ordered this set of Polyhedral dice because my friends got me hooked into playing Dungeons and Dragons. I wanted to have my own pair of dice, so I bought these. They are a very good quality and look awesome. I would recommend people to buy these.

Great product! Shipped in only a few days with regular shipping. Very good coloration that makes it look like it comes right out of the DnD fantasy universe. I have yet to play DnD with these dice, but it seems like they would do well. Over all great product, would recommend, and would do business agian!

I bought this royal blue set and the jade green. I like the jade green one a little more but I'm partial to greens. They both have amazing color. I'd like to buy the scarab red sets next. Really, play with them outside so the sun can illuminate how beautiful they are.

Chessex standard polyhedral 7-die sets consist of one each of the following: d4, d6 (with numerals), d8, d10 (0-9), d10 (00 to 90), d12, and d20. The Scarab range has some of the nicest metallic color combinations with swirls of contrasting hues. The gold lettering is just about perfect, with no washouts or bleeding and in this color combination is easy to read from a distance. The only minor flaw I could find is one rough spot on the d20 die which is not peculiar to this set, several of my dozen or so Chessex sets has a D20 with that particular flaw as well.

Really awesome dice set. It's as if someone took the blue ocean and cast it into dice. Standard set of dice but love the color.

I bought these dice to play an online, blog style, RPG game. I wanted a set I could carry in my work bag that wasn't as sentimental to me as my old set of jewel dice (a x-mas present 24 years ago). I was looking for a simple inexpensive set, but when I saw these scarab finished guys I decided to splurge a bit. The color is an iridescent mix of deep blue, black and purple, like the shell of some strange beetle, which makes them perfectly named. I really like them and I enjoy using them.
