This review is from: Polymer Handbook, 2 Volumes Set (Hardcover)
This is the most useful reference for a polymer scientist. It wouldn't be very useful for a psychologist or a sociologist. A comedian might find it useful, but he would only get laughs from it if he was at an engineering school, unless he was an exceptionally good comedian. I wouldn't recommend that this book be used for sustenance, unless you were trapped on a desert island. Also, I think this book would be good to kill rats, as it has a nice heft to it, and rats are rarely expecting to get beaten with polymer science books.
