Product Description

Very resistant to most acids and alkalies, Polypropylene Balls are useful for vapor and evaporation shields in electrolytic solutions. Because their Specific Gravity is less than water, they are excellent for liquid level float applications.

These are exactly what they say they are. Polypropylene 1" spheres, made of solid plastic. They float. I use them to minimize evaporation and aid in holding food underwater for sous vide applications. They're not cheap, and you'll need a ton to cover a large cambro (10 orders is about enough to provide coverage of a 12qt Cambro), but I don't think I'll ever need to replace them, which is nice.

These solid hard plastic balls have a pleasant translucency and matte finish. They diffuse the light from an LED nicely.
