I bought this chicken jar to give to my the Hubby as a gift. It is very cute, although probably couldn't fit much more than a dozen cookies in it. An unusual and fun decorative cookie jar. I like the differences in coloration on the piece which make it look unique.
But when we followed the "Before First Use" instructions, the whole thing cracked right around the middle of the jar and it is now going back. Maybe it was just a fluke, or a flaw in this piece???? I am hoping to exchange it, and not follow the whole "boiling water" recommendation with the new one. My husband thought it was perfect, and I hope the next one will last more than 24 hours. :o) |
