This item jams constantly and the construction is cheap. Could not fix it and I ended up throwing it away. Under no circumstances should you buy this bread box.

We do not wish to return this product but it will not open completely.
It seems to stick when you get it open about half way. It is a beautiful box but when it doesn't open properly you can't get as much in it. Oil has been put on the track to try to loosen it and it is somewhat better. Diane Hooper

The bread box is very nice looking but the roll top will not open. I had to return this item because it was useless.
