This item jams constantly and the construction is cheap. Could not fix it and I ended up throwing it away. Under no circumstances should you buy this bread box.

We do not wish to return this product but it will not open completely.
It seems to stick when you get it open about half way.
It is a beautiful box but when it doesn't open properly you can't get as much in it.
Oil has been put on the track to try to loosen it and it is somewhat better.

The bread box is very nice looking but the roll top will not open. I had to return this item because it was useless.

My Aunt, god help her, bought this for our kitchen either in a store or having missed the other reviews. This is the worst bread box you could possibly imagine. It gets stuck, it is too light for the amount of force used to open it, and really isn't all that attractive anyway.

Stay away. Stay far away.

This product is very poor quality.
Wood finish in some places was just horrible.
Would not recommend to anyone.

I was so excited to get this product! However, when I opened the box I discovered that the bread box top was broken into three pieces. The back of the rolling top is a simple piece of tape, so was not fixable, nor would you want to as it would break very quickly with use.
So - I DO NOT recommend this product at all.

After having two sent to me, I returned both...First of all on the box, the price was marked $29.99 and Amamzon listed it as $55...They are poorly made but the wood color was actually what I wanted..I was upset but found something else to replace the breadbox....

I found this product to be fine in almost every way. The roll Top does stick sometimes but resolved with a little wax on the roll track. It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen and holds quite a bit of bread products. I would recommend this to anyone in the need for a bread box.

Great item for the cost. Light weight so when you try to open the roll top you must hold it down. It seems like you should bolt it to the counter.

Item is really very nice. It does stick a very little bit when it's opened all the way and you want to close it, but it's nothing major and I barely notice it. Would recommend to anyone based on the box I got.
