Book Review for Micheal Kimery's "Pondering Verse",
By Regina Wildun (Nashville, TN USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pondering Verse (Paperback)
Micheal Kimery's book, "Pondering Verse" is like reading a personal journal of a man whose destiny is to share with the world, all of the deep, yet simple knowledge that comes from the wisdom of living life's experiences. He shares his heartfelt love for his wife, family and friends and beautifully sums it up in this quote; "Loving the beauty of life, and how it is lived with someone very special, is what the true meaning of life is all about." It has been a very long time since I read a book that gives advice and incite into various subjects about life's ups and downs in a poetic, yet straight- forward way. Micheal Kimery has a unique style of making the reader realize that there is a lot to be thankful for and that seeing the brighter side is indeed more fulfilling than dwelling on the down side. He is one of the few authors that has learned from his experiences and is not afraid to share them with the reader. If you are a lover of poetry and song like I am, then you will love reading, "Pondering Verse". Regina Wildun

Influenced by the memorable style of Omar Kyam,
By Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pondering Verse (Paperback)
Pondering Verse is the first of fourteen prospective volumes, which uses poetry to examine basic principles and ethics. Inspirational prose influenced by the memorable style of Omar Kyam and his "Rubiyat" bring to life serious emotional and moral concerns, and also a message of hope - that even when all seems dark and futile, there is value in persevering beyond. Sometimes all that you do seems futile/And nothing that should have a simple answer does./It is in these times that you should not look for a method behind/the madness, but to some other aspect of your life altogether.
