Pongwiffy - A Witch Of Dirty Habits,
By Graeme Balfour (Uk) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pongwiffy: A Witch of Dirty Habits (Lythway Large Print Children's Series) (Hardcover)
Pongwiffy is a very smelly witch of very dirty habits. But she is a happy witch - until the day the gruesome gang of goblins move in next door and make her life miserable. So she goes to live with her not so best friend Sharkaader, who tries to find her a new slum and a much-needed familiar. All they can can up with is a hamster from Amsterdam called Hugo. What an embarrassment! But Hugo is a relly Amazing hamster with hidden strengths.......A hilarious tale of witches, goblins, ghouls and familiars which brought roars of delight and disgust....an ebulliently uninhibited farce. This will appeal to the delicious anarchy of children.
