If your child is like mine and has a keen interest in horses/ponies and coloring, this (or any of the other horse coloring books from Dover) is the book! My 5 year old daughter has used both crayon and colored pencils, with pencils being the better choice due to the detail of the beautiful drawings. In addition, it will last a while given the generous 44 pages of drawings. All I can say is "Mr. Green, please give us more". We will be branching out to some of his other books featuring dogs ("Favorite Dogs Coloring Book"), cats ("Wild Cats of the World Coloring Book"), and monkeys ("Monkeys and Apes Coloring Book").

My grandson loves horses and ponies. He loves this coloring book which has very good pictures of ponies/lots of ponies in detail to color.

I bought this for my daughter, she loves anything pony or horse related. I also love the facts on each particular pony, so it's also educational.Sweet book!!!

Bought it for my little girl, and she has enjoyed it immensely. Highly recommended for your horse-lover, and seems definitely geared toward a slightly older child than my 4-year-old. Didn't stop her enjoyment, though. We may even buy a second, on down the line. . .
