So you think voices like Milanov's, Caballe's and Sutherland's are the most beautiful out there? Then you NEED to listen to Rosa Ponselle, the loveliest, most gorgeous voice ever recorded. This compilation of arias and AMAZING songs will make you sigh with amazement. Her Verdi- and Puccini-recordings have a depth and drama like Callas in her heyday. She doesn't quite have the haunting quality-like the unique Callas-voice but this is something even opera-novices will adore. Madame Ponselle had one of the biggest, most gorgeous voices in history. She sang with the legendary Caruso AND she was Callas' idol. Buy this and be enchanted!
