Great Companion book
George also did a book in '99 titled "Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am 1969-1999 Photo History". This book is on the same premise(black and white photos) but gives you more details about the cars. Again, each year is covered and there are some great examples. This book also gives you total production numbers for these cars. I highly recommend this book. More details...

Good, but.....
Good book, but the "Ilustrated Buyers Guide" on the cars will give you the same info and then some. Unfortunately the "illustrated Buyers Guide" only covers up to 1998 production year.

More details and great pictures. 4 stars only because of Black and White photos. Otherwise, George does another fantastic job.
