She was so impressed with Pony, that she readily opened her mouth to let me brush her teeth like Pony.

There is a part at the end where the pony spits on his dad when he is supposed to be rinsing after brushing, and it's a big funny deal. This causes our toddler to spit on her dad at the end with her rinsing water. My spouse routinely thanks me for purchasing this book and suggests that I do the tooth brushing routine instead.

My 14 month daughter would not allow me to brush her teeth until we checked this book out at the library. She was so impressed with Pony, that she readily opened her mouth to let me brush her teeth like Pony. She thinks it's hilarious when Pony spits the water on Dad, especially when I make a spitting noise. We bought the book on Amazon. Two months later she still enjoys it, but now brushing is a daily habit that she can partially do herself.

We bought this book for our 3 year old for Christmas. He had the Duck Goes Potty book and requested that we read it night after night. On the back of the book they show the other books in the series and he asked to read those. We didn't own them, so we bought him Pig Takes a Bath and this book for Christmas. The best part about this book is that Pony brushes his teeth, "Just like Daddy." Our sons go through their morning ritual with Daddy every day, so I know they will love it. The pictures are great and it has just the right number of words per page for younger children. I also like how it details the proper way to brush your teeth in very simple steps. I'm glad we bought this book.

Very cute small book with cute illustrations :) Howeeever...the little pony accidently spits toothpaste in his Dad's face on the very back page :( My daughter always wants to skip to the end and ask why he did that(with a little smile). I wish my 2 1/2 yr old could see Pony finishing on a good note and being proud of what a good job he did. Otherwise its a helpful tool & cute book :)

Wonderful book! Pony brushes his teeth is my baby's favorite. It really entices her to brush her teeth in such a fun way. I encourage all parents to grab a copy of this adorable story and brush away with their little one(s).

I would have given it a five because it's a great story (my daughter especially likes the spitting part), but I don't think I would have bought it if I'd known it was about a daddy horse helping. It's hard for my daughter since her dad chooses not to be around, but I just change the word when I read it to her to "Mommy" instead. It works because she can't yet read, but if I'd known, I would not have bought it. Otherwise, great book!

This is a cute book, and it did what I wanted it too. It helped my son (who hates brushing) laugh at the character brushing his teeth, and brushing his teeth is just a tiny bit easier after we read this book.

This is one of the greatest children's books we have read in a long time. The pattern of the story is one that children easily follow and then laugh out loud at the end when the plot twist is revealed. After only one reading my 3 year old could "read" most of the book to himself and my 2 year old granddaughter was repeating the lines weeks later. I really love this book. However a couple of the others in the series were not nearly as entertaining as Pony Brushes His Teeth.
