About the Author
Anthony Godfrey, Ph.D., is the president of U.S. West Research, Inc., a public history and cultural resource management firm located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Trained in Native American and American Western history at the University of Utah, he has written, taught, lectured, and testified in court on these and related topics for the last 20 years.
Roy Webb is an archivist in Special Collections, J. Willard Marriott Library, University of Utah. He has lived all his life in the West, and is the author of three books and numerous articles on the history of travel on the Colorado River, and other aspects of American Western history.
