The Cheyenne were horse Indians...deadly when they were on the warpath. Led by Bear Claw they ran roughshod over the territory destroying everything in their path. The regular cavalry was slaughtered by the cunning Cheyenne chief and no one could stop him...except the Pony Soldiers.
