We let him out and he caught on from there and will now always ring the bells when he wants to go outside.

These come in several colors and look so much nicer than homemade!

These bells are almost a mixed blessing! LOL! One of my dogs learned to use it really quickly. Whenever she needs to go outside, she'll ring the bells. Well, sometimes I don't want her to go out (such as when it's pouring down rain) and she'll keep ringing it! I just wrap it over the door know so she can't. But, I really like this and it has worked great for us. I can even hear it in another room.

I love the look of it & the concept, but the construction needs to be reinforced. My dog pawed it (even though we were working on nosing it) and it tore the loop open that holds the bells. It also needs to be stitched across there to keep that from happening. I stitched it back & it has held up so far. I recommend everyone that buys one of these to stitch the loops holding the bells before they hang it up.

Very cute bells. It only took my puppy 2 days to figure out that ringing the bells will get someone to open the door.

I loved the way these bells looked and hung them up at the door our colles go in and out from. Right away our young puppy ran to the bells and smelled them, then rang them (hard). We let him out and he caught on from there and will now always ring the bells when he wants to go outside. No more confusion or sneaking around to "corners". I highly recommend these bells as a potty training aid and they are very attractive as well.

This is not what I'd hoped for after looking directly on the website of the mfg. although these are cheaper than the ones on their site this is nothing more than a few inches of ribbon with 49¢ bells tied to it! I'm going to return it as it's definitely not worth $16.95! Ugh!

I got a new dog and she wouldn't let you know by any verbal or staring cues when she needed to go. She would go by the back door and if you weren't vigilant at watching her every move, then she would relieve herself on the floor. I thought that maybe if I could teach her to ring the bell, then she would learn to go outside. Following the directions that come with the bells, she was potty trained and ringing the bell consistently by the end of the second week As a bonus her "sisters" have started to ring the bell when they want out too. My only regret is that I didn't order this product sooner. I'm so thankful for this product.

I think the Poochie Bells are a great and helpful training aid. My puppy quickly learned to use them to let us know she wanted to go outside! Sometimes, just for play, but even so it's easy for her to use and much better than listening to barking!!

This has worked like a charm for potty training our rescue dog. He picked up on it right away too! We started the first day with having him touch it with his nose to make the sound before leashing him to take him outside, and rewarding with a yummy treat. By the second day he would sit next to it, touch it without us telling him and then get his reward. Now he will ring it even when we aren't standing there to get our attention to take him out then he does his business, and gets his reward. So easy, and these bells hang down from the front doorknob so that a dog of any height would be able to work them.
