Great little training tool to help run a home more efficiently! Took some time in the beginning but our puppy eventually got the hang of it and now rings it like crazy! One piece of advice - don't let the bell become associated with play time outside or the dog will ring it every time he/she gets bored, which for our puppy can be every 10 minutes!

Looks great and it was a great concept but my puppy prefers to sit by the door instead of ringing the bell. The noise scares him a bit. Even when I put a treat on the bell to make him touch it, he'll take the treat ever so carefully to not ring the bell.

These bells work like a charm once you train your pup to hit them to "tell you" she wants to go out. Good quality, durable product.

This item arrived quickly and was package well. I have a chi and a blue heeler. I started the 8mo rescued chi the first day and even though she was a little scared of the bells I jingled them everytime I let her out to potty. After about a week she started using them.......to be let out to play! However I do let her out regularly to do her business so she just hasn't had a chance to use them for what they are for. I do have hope for her! My blue heel however, uses them and I have never trained her for that! Smart dog! Great product and well made.

One of our puppies took to this very well...actually too well because now he rings it just out of boredom. But at least he's ringing the bell and not pottying in the house!

These bells are made well and hang low enough for my puppy to reach them. She learned to "ring the bells" the first week we took her home! Now she is 12 weeks old and almost completely trained. I highly recommend PoochieBells.

Durable and adjustable since it has a snap halfway up, so if you have a tall dog this may be useful. Also, our dog uses her teeth to ring the bell when she really wants our attention and this doesn't have holes yet, unlike another thin one we bought.

I have not been able to train my dog, a little chihuahua, named Yoda (big ears) to use these. I do have to give 5 stars though as they are a great idea, and I did find that somehow he got these off my door, and well, was wearing them... Yep he got them wrapped around him and was running around the house making all sorts of noise. He plays with them before he lays down for a nap, but potty time, well it is still Lickies in the face!
