Discusses the origin, temperament, and grooming of poodles. Describes standard, miniature, and toy poodles. Most photos look like they could be on a Poodle Calendar. The book design is clean and inviting. "A note about dogs" at the end of the book reminds readers about the responsibilities of owning a dog. Karen Woodworth-Roman, Children's Science Book Review.
