Fun Book,
By Kermit (Richmond, VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pooh's Piano Book (Disney's Winnie the Pooh) (Hardcover)
My 18 month old daughter loves this book. There are several different titles from the publisher (pilbooks.com) with the same fun piano concept. We have the Little People Songs that Move. She played with it so much that it actually fell apart. It was a well made book, so no complaints there. I am actually looking for another of the same, but since I can't find it, I am going to buy the Pooh book. These books allow you to push a button and hear the song tune. My daughter loves it when I sing to the tune. After the tune plays, the keys light up, so you can play the tune on your own. You can also press the keys and create your own songs. Cute pictures too.

This review is from: Pooh's Piano Book (Disney's Winnie the Pooh) (Hardcover)
My son (26 months) likes the pictures and the songs that I sing (I make up the words sometimes to shorten some of the songs). Unfortunately, the book's battery was dead and I haven't replaced it, so we don't know what the songs really sound like, but they're based on children songs so it's easy to figure out the tune. He point to Mama Kangaroo and says Mommy Kooroo everytime he sees her.

Cute but LOUD,
By
This review is from: Pooh's Piano Book (Disney's Winnie the Pooh) (Hardcover)
My son received this book for his 2nd birthday. It is cute and fun; he loves music, so he's fascinated with the book. However, the one thing that annoys me with this book is that it is so LOUD, with no way to stop a song once it starts or to adjust the volume. That becomes a problem if one of us bumps a button while putting it away after the baby is asleep.
Otherwise, we love it; it's a great way to introduce music. |
