Product Description

POOL CUE LASER SIGHT This product lets you evaluate your pool technique using laser beam analysis for a very low cost. The Pool Cue Laser Sight is simple to use. With a little effort, you will be able to use laser evaluation techniques to dramatically increase your ability and your enjoyment of the game. Steadiness of the player's stroke The cue sight laser dot on the cue ball gives a visual feedback on the steadiness of the player's stroke. Any dip or twist will be revealed by the movement of the laser dot. This is a major technique error that many have but may not realize it. Check Alignment You can check alignment by passing the laser dot over the tops of the cue and object balls. Compare the laser analysis with your visual analysis for consistency. Determine angles Determine angles by aligning the object ball with the pocket using the laser dot. This determines the point at which the object ball must be struck to drive it towards the pocket. Check Clearance If there is a ball positioned between the cue ball and the object ball, you can use the Laser Sight to see if there is enough clearance to make the shot. Bank or Kick Shot Angle Check A mirror is provided as a way to check your angle perceptions in making bank and kick shots. A mirror is placed between the cushion and the table surface in the area where the object or cue ball will hit the cushion in an intended bank shot. Aim the laser beam over the ball placing the beam on the cushion where the best shot angle would be. Then lower the beam on to the mirror below. The beam will be reflected to the target If the angle is judged correctly. + More Evaluations. This is a great pool evaluation value! It also makes a great gift for a pool player.

This item was purchased for my son who is learning to play pool. I thought this might be a good tool to help him line up some of his shots. Unfortunately, this item is so cheap I need to return it. It had flimsy "rubber bands" to hold it to the cue stick and the laser itself was very poorly constructed. It won't even stay in place when you try to use it.

Nice idea but implementation is not practical. It moves around with the rubber bands too much to be useful, however it was fun to try it for about 20 minutes before I threw it away.

Well its basically a generic laser pointer you buy at Walmart, however it has been cleverly(5 stars for cleverness)retrofitted for a pool cue. Problem is... under florescent pool table lighting, and playing on a 9' table, you can't see the little magic red dot. Work's well in the dark, especially if you're playing with your girlfriend... no... you may not use my laser pointer while playing my girlfriend, in the dark, while i'm using the boys room, lol.. For the price, I can't complain, I've gotten more attention than you can throw a stick (cue) at!

Enjoy "Bustin'Ball's Paulie"

p.s. I might do better with night-vision goggles or cataract surgery, in which case... please disregard this product review as it may be blind-sided... I've moved on... to a 7' table.
