I bought it for my hot tub - and while it is pretty flimsy, it was also cheap - and works. Biggest problem is its sensitivity in picking up stations - you need a steddy hand and micrometer fingers to get a station.

the connection for the battery is not designed properly. If you bump the radio just a little or if it wobbles alot, like in a pool, the battery slides out of contact, and the radio doesnt work any more. I tried to tighten it down and that does not help. I could probably mcguver the thing with some expoxy and toothpicks, but whats the point of buying a brand new radio built for a pool that does not work. Junk.
