NEW! POOP-FREEZE Aerosol Freeze Spray (10 oz) This product worked fine on regular poop, so what, I can pick that up with a baggie any day. I purchased this product for when my dogs had loose stools but it did not work on hardening these stools up to prevent a messy clean up. Sorry, it appeared to be a great idea!

I'd heard good things about Poop-Freeze from other pet owners, so I ordered a can. Sadly, I wasn't as impressed as I'd hoped to be. I followed the directions the first time, and instead of frozen poop, I just had cooler poop to pick up. The second time, I sprayed for longer than recommended. This gave me cold, but still not frozen, poop. Granted, if you're picking it up with a plastic baggie, cold poop is slightly more pleasant that still-warm poop, but the product implies that the poop will be frozen nearly solid and that is not the case. (Incidentally, we're talking a pug here, not a really BIG dog).

You know those cans of air you buy to clean your keyboards & other things? Try turning one of those cans upside down and spraying the poop -couple of blasts - each about 5 seconds works great! That and a putty knife lifts it right off the carpet!

Doesn't do the job of hardening or drying up the poop enough to pick up right away. You still have to give it time to air dry, which defeats the purpose...

I love this product. My dog drops bombs in the house on a regular basis. Perhaps he does it just to let me know that he needs more attention or maybe he does it to piss me off. Poop Freeze has saved the day! It makes picking up poop easy and fun. Did I say fun - YUP. My kids love picking up after the dog outside in the yard with Poop Freeze.

This is great stuff. My dog gets the runs from time to time. Just zap the juicy pile and it comes right up. It also makes clean up a lot easier. Usually I wait till it ages a while before I chuck it in to my neighbors yard. Now I don't need to and my yard is nice and clean.

I was looking for a product that would let me freeze my own poo. Finally, here it is. It really saves me time. Instead of having to poo in ice cube trays and freeze it, not to mention the hours of waiting by the freezer... Now I just poo on a stick, spray some poop freeze, and viola! instant snack! Its scat-a-rific!

The spray does at least partially freeze the poop all canine owners need to responsibly pickup, but it falls well short of the product claims. My family has used it under varying weather conditions and had uneven results, though we have precisely followed the directions. It is most effective (provided the directions are followed exactly) on very solid stool and least effective on soft/running stool. The obvious problem is the latter is exactly why one would purchase the product. We bought it to do a more thorough job picking up after our dogs on a multi-use trail. We bike with our dogs (using Walky Dog) and like to leave the trail as clean as possible for others and to ensure dogs continue to be permitted to use the trail. The product did not help as much as we had hoped. When our multi-can supply runs out, I don't think we will purchase more.

They don't explain you not only have to take the can out but then find and put the straw on..not easy with 1,2,3 or 4 dogs on leashes. Then the item does freeze the mess but also the grass. Also you need to turn the item over and freeze the back "according to the instructions".. I have been unable to do this. I guess its an art... like... flipping pancakes.
The freeze spray does help but don't expect it to be anything like the commercial

Finding the right temperature for dealing with K9 feces is tough. Fresh feces are warm, runny and not pleasant to the touch. If you let it sit for hours, sure it has cooled off to a lukewarm temp, but now it may be crawling with all kinds of insects. Poop Freeze Aerosol Freeze Spray puts everything at just the right temperature. The Aerosol Freeze Spray makes things easy to pick up and not too hard to chew. I find the Aerosol adds a delicate after taste to the feces that just rolls off of the palette. Kudos to you Poop Freeze! Now my yard looks great and I have a new hobby.
