I first read this book in high school, and I loved it. It has a lot of qualities that would appeal to a 16 year old girl, especially the introduction to a man's viewpoint of women. But as I reread it nearly thirty years later, I found the descriptive, eloquent writing so evocative I related to the book on a whole new level. There is an element of predictability, but...

I first read this book in high school, and I loved it. It has a lot of qualities that would appeal to a 16 year old girl, especially the introduction to a man's viewpoint of women. But as I reread it nearly thirty years later, I found the descriptive, eloquent writing so evocative I related to the book on a whole new level. There is an element of predictability, but it's totally enjoyable.
