I have several publications of this wise man's quotes. One is held together with duck tape. Great source of inspiration to be a better person and live a full life. I open this digital edition every Monday morning first thing. Sets the tone for the rest of the week. A timeless, national treasure. As relevant as the day it was written.

Ben did a very clever job of putting his unique stamp on important truths. It took a couple of readings to ferret out the meanings of some homilies, but in the end it was well worth the trouble. I also found out where some of my parents quotes originated. Fun read.

Simply a guide, left with us by one of our greatest founders. One would do well to use these for daily reminders.

Nothing to do with Franklin's fantastic work, but this book is AWFUL. There are so many typos that I felt I needed to look up an online text just to see what it actually said. Upon doing that I found that this book isn't even complete!! There are many more entries that are not included. This publishing is a joke and they should be frightfully embarassed. Spend the extra $ and get a good copy!

This was less substantial than I thought it would be. The quotes or sayings are not categorized, but just in a pages long list without any sense of what they are for. You have to go through all of them to find the subject area you might be looking for. It diminished the usefulness of the list of sayings, and the whole book. Biography is rather superficial. Didn't cost much, but also didn't serve much of a purpose.

Extremely short content and not what I would have expected in the way of illustrations. Perhaps I clicked "buy" to soon or as good old Ben would say, "a fool and his money are soon parted"

Ben Franklin was a wise and witty man! There is much to learn from this Founding Father. Poor Richard's Almanac is a great read.
