The karaoke listings on amazon.com are always kind of vague, so I hope this helps someone...

This is Pop Hits Monthly from May 1997.
The catalog number for this karaoke CDG is 9705-P.

The Tracks are:
1 - Spice Girls - Say You'll Be There
2 - Meredith Brooks - Bitch
3 - Monica - For You I Will
4 - Verve Pipe - The Freshman (single remix)
5 - U2 - Staring At The Sun
6 - INXS - Elegantly Wasted
7 - Collective Soul - Precious Declaration
8 - Sublime - Santeria
9 - Blackstreet - Don't Leave Me
Those are all stereo backing tracks,
and 10-18 are the same songs in multiplex with demonstration vocals.

While the Pop Hits Monthly CDGs from the '90s are some of the best quality versions ever made of the songs on them, most discs only give you one or two good songs that are still popular. This disc is a shining exception.
Sublime's "Santeria" is still, to this day, one of the most sang songs at my show and at shows where the host has it. It's NOT an easy song to find in karaoke, and this is an awesome version of it. That alone is enough to justify the price of this disc, but other songs frequently sang on this disc are "Bitch" and "The Freshman". With the exception of The Spice Girls, all the rest of the songs do get sang, and there's not a bad rendition on here.

No, they are not the original instrumentals, none of the Pop Hits Monthly discs are, but these are VERY high quality recreations, with very easy to follow lyrics on the screen. And, unlike the versions made by other karaoke companies (Sound Choice, I'm looking at you!) they aren't plagued by off-key backing vocals that shouldn't be there.

Get this out-of-print disc while you still can!
