5.0 out of 5 stars A reunion is called for by the people, December 27, 2011

I was flipping through my ever growing library of music and pulled out this oldie but goodie by a great local mpls band. I am actually best friends with the bass player's cousin and grew up in a small town in SD while I was exposed to Roto. Its high time this band gets it crap together and reform. The band has great depth and probably would have been as influential on the 90's as Nirvana/PJ/Soundgarden had the forces of society (I blame remnants of the Reagan administration) not interfeared and caused the seismic demise of the group. Bottom Line, if Roto had continued there would be no global warming, hunger, or crime. Lets get this reunion scheduled.

5.0 out of 5 stars ROTO Love, April 13, 2010
This review is from: Pop Infrastructure (Audio CD)
While listening to this album, I got goose bumps and dizzy from exhilaration. The pounding, driving bass line almost puts you in a trance or a drug like haze. When it was over I was actually furious that this is their only recorded material, WHY???!! I believe all the members are still alive, but I don't know what it would take for them to get back together. Please Roto Spasmo!! We want I mean we NEED more!

5.0 out of 5 stars Transcendent, April 11, 2010
This review is from: Pop Infrastructure (Audio CD)
Hearing this band is borderline orgasmic. Like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin and the Beatles somehow had a mystical musical love child for the second coming of Christ. This is truly a sonic splendor to behold, especailly the bass licks laid down by Adrian Wicks. Les Claypool times 50 is about the only way I could describe it. Put on a helmet before listening because it's going to blow your mind.
